  • Sour Diesel

Sour Diesel, a legendary sativa-dominant powerhouse, emerged from the Chemdawg 91 line blended with Super Skunk and Northern Lights. This East Coast original rose to fame in the 1990s for its unmistakable diesel-fuel aroma and electrifying cerebral high. Seedsman's Sour Diesel version thrives in warm, dry climates where it can stretch freely and develop its full aromatic potential. With long, open branching and dense, sticky colas, it’s a resilient plant that’s faster to finish than most haze-dominant strains while retaining that unmistakable sativa character.

The bold, woody-citrus aroma is a dream for terp lovers, while its smooth, mellow effects provide deep relaxation and pain relief. Easy to grow and highly resistant, this strain is a must-have for cultivators looking for something special.

Your participation in BLAZE is a valuable contribution towards crafting a comprehensive guide for sun grown cultivation worldwide. Engage with us in this unique endeavor. Together, we will share in the journey of growth and the pioneering task of delineating growing zones tailored for sun grown cultivation.

The BLAZE project was born from recognizing the overlooked benefits of outdoor cannabis cultivation over the industry narrative that prefers indoor cultivation. It aims to address the lack of resources for outdoor growers, especially in selecting climate-appropriate strains.

Envisioning a global platform, BLAZE seeks to empower outdoor growers with key information on strain selection to enhance cultivation in various climates. At its heart, BLAZE is not just a project but a pioneering movement aimed at transforming cannabis cultivation. It stands on the pillars of sustainability, community, and innovation, reaching out to collaborators who are driven by a vision of a more sustainable future in cannabis cultivation.

By uniting resources, expertise, and passion, BLAZE aspires to empower growers and improve yield and quality in diverse climates and nurture a community rooted in mutual success and environmental responsibility.

  • This old guy was an indoor tent grower briefly until 2024.
That year I met Queen online talking compost to someone with a twinkle in her eyes and a big grin. I found her channel Queen of the Sun Grown. I was looking for a good teacher and the timing was lucky to get in on Blaze.
This would be my first outdoor grow… Queen encouraged me to get a grow card, and we finally got our seeds and it was grow time… Mother Nature in action.
My Pacific Northwest weather proved to be a challenge. But along came July… and away they grew… 2 Donutz diploid and 2 Donutz triploid all from Humboldt Seed Co.
Cool experience being in a grow… growth for me personally as well. BLAZE 2025 can only get better. Have I mentioned what a wonderful discord there is here?

Even though I had mixed success with my BLAZE 24 grow, I gained invaluable knowledge for this year’s grow… and am more energized than ever as a gardener. We must remember we are collecting data. I proudly wear my citizen scientist shirt.
I’m so thankful to be in a supportive knowledgeable grow group and the friendships that developed.

of note: One of the diploids I grew was a gorgeous Whorled Phyllotaxy mutation!

    It's Canna Science * * * * *

I had a great time this last year. I most defiantly learned so much. I went from a noob to a slightly better noob, but I think next year is gonna be wonderful! After a little planning and prep work, I know my plants are gonna be happy. Their roots will grow and be symbiotically linked with the soil. Nature will help me water. Also best of all; I won't have to crank my ac and I'm gonna yield!!
